Brock Rogerson is a resistant real estate investor. As a Financial Planner, Investment Specialist, Options trader, Day trader, and Commodity Floor Trader, ™ Brock has had extensive experience in nearly every type of investing throughout the past 18 years. He § was also the 12th person in Canada to achieve the JV Derivatives Market Specialist Designation.​

  • During Brock’s 16 year career at CIBC Investor Services Inc., he was responsible for consulting high net worth individuals and corporations on reaching their investing and estate aspirations.​

  • Brock demonstrates continuous commitment toward engaging and supporting his clients in making informed financial decisions. After working with thousands of clients, Brock observed many of them confusing brilliance with a bull market in real estate and ultimately the reality of the plunging economy came crashing home through the recession of 2008-2009. Driven to help, Brock committed to extensive training in real estate focusing on the differences and similarities between real estate, stocks, commodities, and bonds, which positioned him to better assist his clients with making the best decisions for their overall long-term financial health.

  • Leading by example, Brock built a real estate portfolio with 148 rental units in Red Deer AB., Winnipeg MB., Mississauga ON., Chatham ON., Saint John NB., and Atlanta GA.

  • Brock has also been a member of The Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) for six years and has proven the value of having equity market and financial planning knowledge when identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities in the real estate market.

  • Most recently Brock was recognized by The Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) by being named the “Leslie Cluff Memorial Award — Top Player of the Year 2017”, as well as, “Co-Venturer of the Year 2017”.

  • He was nominated in three categories at the Canadian Real Estate Wealth Magazine 201! awards in Vancouver (“Investor of the Year”, “Interprovincial Investor of the Year”, and won the top honors of being 2011’s “Inspirational Investor of the Year’).

Spencer G. Riche is Co-Founder and Director of R2 Capital Partners Inc. He leads acquisitions and the asset management division which controls over $20 Million in residential, multi-family, commercial, and industrial real estate. 

Spencer started his career in the specialty trade of sprinkler-fitting spending four years with Vipond Fire. He then later advanced into the oil and gas industry working for S/A Energy Group. Spencer became proficient in trades and personal management, supervising fire suppression crews on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects such as;

  • The Glass House – A $130 million development of 195 unit sky lofts located at 311 Hargrave St. Winnipeg, MB;

  • RBCs Convention Centre’s $180 million expansion;

  • Manitoba Hydro’s $4.9 billion Bipole III Expansion;

  • S/A Energy Group's Line 3 Replacement, $4.3 billion project.


Spencer has an extensive background in real estate, owning commercial and residential assets in 3-provinces, and two countries. He is an expert joint venture strategist with a wealth of experience in finding off-market opportunities, renovations, and implementing creative value-add strategies. Spencer focuses on cost control, maximizing return on investment, and developing strong management teams.


Spencer is Co-Founder and Director of Sure Home Stays LP, a boutique hotel, short-term rental chain stretching from Victoria, BC to Halifax, NS. Founded in March of 2019, Spencer and his team raised a seed round of capital to kick-start the growth in seven Canadian cities, and two States, earning annual revenues of $1M+ in the first year, and $2M+ in the second.

Dorothy Radulski is based in Calgary, Alberta and is the Office Manager
for R2 Partners. Dorothy immersed herself in the dynamic field of Real
Estate in 2006 as a Realtor and Property Manager and joined HABO Inc. in 2015 as Office Manager.

Together with her Real Estate background, Dorothy brings a wealth of varied international experience to Team HABO Inc. including over 25 years of corporate, commercial, and litigation legal assisting, senior executive assistant and office management within the oil and gas and private business sectors.

Bookkeeper - Balanced Beans Bookkeeping


Lisa Lowry is founder and President of Balanced Beans
Bookkeeping and a real estate investor. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree focused on Information Systems and has obtained her Certified Professional Bookkeeper designation from the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada. She has been involved in the finance world for over 25 years working in both public and private practice in a variety of industries.


In her current practice, Lisa specializes in accounting for revenue properties. Her education in real estate has been both technical and practical. Apart from studying the administrative and tax mechanics of real estate, she has also been a real estate investor since 2010. She began with a 2-bedroom bungalow and from that sprung a business that sports 35 doors which she runs with her business partner to administer the properties and joint venture investors. In June 2018 Lisa’s focus and effort to specialize was recognized when she received the Real Estate Service Professional of the Year award from REIN, a community of which she has been a member since 2011.


Lisa’s goal is to combine her expertise and experience with her passion for accounting, technology and real estate, and share this with her clients and investors to assist them with their own journey of wealth generation, and to contribute to the elevation of the community. Lisa Lowry’s mission as a service professional is to facilitate the friendship between her client and their numbers. Lisa aims to do this by working alongside her clients to alleviate the discomfort of administration and summarize their data in a meaningful way so they can stay focused on their job as an investor.

Ryan Barrett graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 1998.  

Ryan articled with PriceWaterhouse Coopers and obtained his CA designation.  Ryan then worked at a public real estate investment trust in the hotel and resort industry managing the tax department. Subsequently Ryan went to work for an entrepreneur, focusing on the real estate industry, where he earned his Chartered Business Valuator designation (“CBV”) and completed the CICA Corporate Finance program.  Ryan’s work consisted of valuation, taxation, financing and accounting.  From working with the entrepreneur, Ryan realized that owners of private businesses did not have the resources or financial means to have all their needs met by one Professional.

Ryan joined a mid-size accounting firm in 2009 specializing in U.S. taxation, with a focus on providing full service accounting and advisory services to business owners.  Ryan has also completed the CICA in-depth Tax Course and has obtained his Certified Public Accounting designation.

Philippe’s legal practice focuses on real estate transactions, corporate finance, corporate restructuring, estate planning and general corporate matters.  His experience includes advising clients in corporate reorganizations, acquisitions and dispositions of shares and business assets.  Philippe regularly advises clients in the areas of purchase and sale of residential, commercial and condominium properties.  He also works with mineral companies in advising them on real estate and mineral title acquisitions, joint ventures, project development and financing.

Philippe is a registered Trade-mark agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and advises clients on matters including the registration, protection, licensing and enforcement of intellectual property.

Philippe completed his Undergraduate Degree in Philosophy in 2002 at the Université de Moncton.  After obtaining his L.L.B. from the Université de Moncton in 2005, he was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 2006.  Philippe practises in both official languages.

Originally from Tracadie-Sheila, Philippe lives in Quispamsis, New Brunswick with his wife Christine and their daughter Jasmine.  Philippe enjoys being involved in the community.  He sits on the Board of Directors of the Saint John Boys & Girls Club.  Philippe is also involved in the local francophone community with la Fondation Samuel-de-Champlain.

Steve Will is a partner in Gowling WLG's Calgary, Alberta office. He practises primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity buy-outs, corporate finance and corporate commercial transactions.

Steve has experience in public offerings, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions of both public and private companies, private equity buy-outs, capital pool transactions, corporate commercial transactions, securities enforcement and compliance matters, stock exchange listings and compliance matters (Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange), corporate reorganizations, limited partnership matters, corporate governance and continuous disclosure matters.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Steve represented actors and extras in the film and TV industry as a talent agent in Vancouver

Thomas Thurmeier is a corporate commercial and real estate lawyer practising in Calgary, Alberta as a partner with the Small Business Legal Centre (SBLC).  Prior to co-founding SBLC, Thomas was in private practice and in-house counsel for the City of Calgary acting in litigation, land and development, real estate and commercial leasing.
